Trading - In Game
For instance, a player with excess wood can enter timber merchants and sell a select quantity of timber at a fixed rate. This rate is calculated by the Cornucopias artificial intelligence in-game economics engine and will fluctuate over time depending on in-game supply and demand.
If a player is a member of a district, they still have the option to sell their resource to another district - but this has disadvantages, as they will not be supporting their own district and won’t add to their own district score - plus, they may not receive as good of a deal as they would locally. This incentivizes players to support their own districts.
